Mandurah الزهور

There is lots to do in Mandurah, including checking out the former fishing port's best seaside attractions. This is the best place to head in the area for seafood - including delicious fish and chips, crabcakes and prawns. Mandurah is a seafood lover's paradise. If you have already eaten your fill then head on out to take in some of the tours in the area. Perhaps a boat trip will entice you - there are several operators in the area - and even some that will take you out to see dolphins in their natural habitat. If waterside activities are your thing then there is plenty more to do once you disembark. Try snorkeling, jet skiing and scuba diving if you want, or for the more adventurous there is always kite surfing or even parasailing. If you would rather keep your feet firmly on the ground then head on over to Dolphin Quay marine for a cocktail or two, or check out the Abingdon Miniature Village. If you want to check out some flowers and plants whilst in Mandurah then you have plenty of choice. Check out the Beechams Reserve near Frasers landing. August through to October are the best months to catch these stunning displays, and the local tourist information center in Mandurah will happily give you a list of the best trails along which you can check out the glorious wildflowers in bloom. There are lots of glorious places at which to spot the wildflowers. Check out the Heathland Walk along the Preston Beach Road. Here you can see the Mandurah native flower - the Templetonia, which blooms in the winter months, or the gorgeous buttercups that blanket the area in the spring. Elsewhere head onto the Old Coast Road from Mandurah en route to Erskine and check out the gorgeous wisteria as well as white myrtle. Do not forget to bring your camera!
