Hamm is quite a small and a quiet city located in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. Formerly being a coalmining city, the place has now shifted to logistics and manufacturing and has an organized housing system. The butterfly park where several species of butterflies are kept is loved by many tourists. Moreover, there are a lot of playgrounds inside the park where the children can play outside games or do some activities.
The best part about the park is Glaselefant, an elephant made of glass panels, designed by the artist and architect Horst Rellecke in 1984. It is counted as the largest animal-shaped building in the world. The structure was recently renovated and LED lights were attached with glass panels that change colors.
