Elsewhere, Sydney's amazing Royal Botanic Garden is a great place to visit if you love flowers. There are even Aboriginal Tours. Check out the red waratah native flower, and many of the other thousands of flowers, trees, shrubs and plants. The rose garden is particularly stunning, with almost two thousand rose bushes on display. Sydney is also home to dozens of flower and garden festivals and shows. The Australian Garden Show is held here annually in September, and features a wide selection of plants and flowers, as well as advise on how to grow them from experts. There are also tulip festivals just out of Sydney in Bowral, or the Leura Garden Festival, both within easy reach of Sydney. Native flowers to the area include the bright Kangaroo Paw.
