Copenhagen, Denmark’s capital, for many years has been one of the most important cities in Europe. Financially, the Copenhagen Stock Exchange is one of Northern Europe’s economic powerhouses, and Copenhagen as a whole is Denmark’s cultural, economic, and governmental center. Copenhagen is also one of the academic centers of Denmark: over 94,000 students are enrolled into a variety of schools, such as the University of Copenhagen, the Copenhagen Business School, and the Technical University of Denmark. There are so many notable places and attractions in Copenhagen that it’s difficult to begin with only one. The Little Mermaid statue, named after the Hans Christian Andersen fairy tale of the same name, is one of the icons of Copenhagen. The beautiful Christiansborg Palace, the seat of the Prime Minister’s office, the Danish parliament, and the Supreme Court, boasts breathtaking architecture, and the wide assortment of restaurants, clubs, and businesses in the area attract a high volume of tourists. The Tivoli Gardens, usually just referred to as Tivoli, are another notable locale in Copenhagen. Tivoli is an amusement park and pleasure garden, and in Tivoli are the Tivoli flower gardens. The Tivolo flower gardens contain a stunning assortment of spring tulips, and the flowers change based on seasonality. Other flowers include marigolds, dahlias, trumpet flowers, and red clover, the national flower of Denmark. The University of Copenhagen also has a botanical garden of its own. An elaborate collection of greenhouses spanning 10 hectares, the botanical gardens contain well over 13,000 species of plants, with some greenhouses dedicated specifically to certain flowers. One greenhouse houses orchids and begonias, while another one holds cacti. The University of Copenhagen’s newest addition to the botanical garden is a greenhouse dedicated specifically to rhododendron flowers. These flowers with all of their astonishing variety, and many more, can be sent by us to many international locations and addresses, and we can send many different kinds of flowers to most addresses in Copenhagen itself.
