Geraldton has a number of interesting things to do and see. Head to the esplanade which has been recently refurbished to check out the walkway, chill with your friends and people watch the day away! For floral attractions you will have to wait a while for the area to have a Botanic Garden- it has just been given the go ahead, but there are other flower attractions to be seen here. Until it is open, head off on some wildflower viewings instead. There are more than twelve thousand species alone in the area and there are lots of places to explore. In July to October you will see the best displays . Check out the Chapman River Regional Park which has more than three hundred different types of plants and flowers on display, or visit the Mills Point Lookout for its lovely displays of Hibbertia and Damperia flowers.
