Angarsk Virág (Helyi Virágbolt)

In 1945, right after the end of the Great Patriotic War, in the heart of Eastern Siberia, a settlement was founded to serve the constructed combine for the production of artificial liquid fuels. The village was called Maysk. In 1951 it was renamed Angarsk in honor of the Angara River, on the shore of which it is located, and received the status of the city.
And since the city was founded immediately after the end of the war, it was also called "City born of victory". Administratively, Angarsk is part of the Irkutsk Region. Its population according to the census of 2017 is 226 thousand people.
Angarsk is a purely industrial city, a large number of chemical enterprises are located on its territory. The largest of them is ANKHK (Angarsk Petrochemical Company), which processes oil. The second most important is the AECC (Angarsk Electrolysis Chemical Combine). At these two enterprises, more than two thousand people work. In addition, the construction industry and the food-processing industry are developed. The city's ecology is far from ideal - the outflows of oil refineries and electrolysis plants, as well as the exhaust gases of numerous motor vehicles, have a very negative effect on the state of the environment. The situation is a bot improving by forest tracts near the city.
The climate of Angarsk is quite severe - a long and cold winter gives way to a short, but hot summer. At the same time, the daytime exhausting heat is replaced by a cold night.
However, despite this not very favorable climate, the plant world of Angarsk and its environs is quite diverse. Many mushrooms and berries. In wet, marshy areas grows Núphar lútea, which has large, bright flowers. The water lily quadrangular grows there. However, wild orchids are rare. If you are lucky, you can see the beautiful large-flowered Cypripédium- drip, and limestone, as well as a broad-leaved dumpling. Alas, the deteriorating ecology and consequences of human activity lead to the gradual disappearance of these beautiful flowers, and therefore they are listed in the Red Book, like the deviant peony, the double-leafed violet (night violet), and many others. In Angarsk, however, a large number of ornamental flowers are planted every year to decorate the city. Petunias grow in the center of the city, dahlias. Many flowerbeds are planted with marigolds and an ashtray. Recently, a large number of salvias were planted, and they well established. In the city, in the park "Aistenok" you can admire the Bears, made of fresh flowers!
