Located in Queensland, Caboolture is a beach lover's paradise. With gorgeous clean beaches with fine sand stretching as far as the eye can see, it is no surprise it is a holiday destination for many. Watersports are on offer here in abundance. Try your hand at sailing, windsurfing or paragliding to name but a few. If that's not your thing then head downtown to the Art and Archeology Museum, which has ancient artefacts on display. Wildflower spotting as a favorite pastime for locals who enjoy hiking and walking trails in the area - there are over ten thousand different wildflowers on display ! Steve Irwin way has a nice selection including sarsparella and wattle, and nearby Eden Maddock Dam boasts a nice collection of purple blooms including the flag flowers. The Vanilla Lily is a local wildflower that attracts multiple winged insects and hikers alike! They look mainly like grass but then bloom spectacularly!
