Carlingford Fiori Fiorista

There is lots to do in Carlingford, which is located within Sydney. The Balaka falls is probably the best attraction in the very local area. Of course, its location makes Carlingford a great place from which to explore all of the great attractions on offer in the greater Sydney area. Elsewhere, Sydney's amazing Royal Botanic Garden is a great place to visit if you love flowers. There are even Aboriginal Tours. Check out the red waratah native flower, and many of the other thousands of flowers, trees, shrubs and plants. The rose garden is particularly stunning, with almost two thousand rose bushes on display. Sydney is also home to dozens of flower and garden festivals and shows. The Australian Garden Show is held here annually in September, and features a wide selection of plants and flowers, as well as advise on how to grow them from experts. There are also tulip festivals just out of Sydney in Bowral, or the Leura Garden Festival, both within easy reach of Sydney. Native flowers to the area include the bright Kangaroo Paw. Elsewhere, you can check out wildflowers in the nearby area. There is a wildflower garden at Ku-Ring-Gai in St Ives. This is a huge wildflower garden with plenty to see, including trails that showcase some of the best blooms. Check out the Wildflower Art and Garden that occurs annually. Elsewhere, the Australian Botanic Garden is another great place to see flowers and is spread over a huge 416 hectares! You can head into any of the zones to see splashed of colour, including gorgeous Acacia, banksias and Sydney Blue Gums. This is a great attraction and best of all it is free to enter!
