Etobicoke may have been swallowed up by Toronto and incorporated into this huge city, but the area still maintains a certain unique feel to it. The best place to visit in Etobicoke is without a doubt the Humber Bay Park – a popular place to hang out this pretty area also hosts a farmer’s market in the warmer months. Etobicoke is of course easily accessible to downtown Toronto and all its great attractions. For those who want to see some flowers when staying in Etobicoke, head to some of Toronto’s well known flower spotting places. These include the Allen Gardens Park and Conservatory with its great collection of flowers and plants, and the High Park which is a great place to visit in spring to catch the cherry blossoms. Another attraction of note is the Toronto Flower Market which is open for most of the year and is the perfect place to pick up a beautiful bunch of flowers near Etobicoke. Don’t forget to include a trip to Toronto Botanical Gardens when you are in Etobicoke for its selection of native and rare plants and flowers, or visit Edwards Gardens for gorgeous wildflower displays, roses and tulips.
