The lovely town of Guelph has loads of attractions for both visitors and locals alike. With an old town packed with Victorian buildings and a stunning basilica, photo opportunities abound. Guelph is also situated in the Rockwood Conservation Area, which makes for an excellent area for exploring the great outdoors, walking the many trails and exploring the lakes by canoe. In spring, Starkey hill is the place to head if you are in the Guelph area during spring, as it is known for its fabulous displays of wildflowers. Whilst in Guelph you can also explore nearby Kitchener. Here you will find the beautiful Rockway Gardens - one of the best places to see flowers in Kitchener, with beautifully tended beds and gorgeous manicured lawns providing a burst of color. Victoria Park is another great park, with handsome flower and plant arrangements around some pleasant walkways. Victoria Park is also host to a number of exciting events in the summer months which sees locals descend to this park and take in the entertainment. In the entire Guelph area you will also find lots of lovely walking trails and Mennonite farms selling wildflowers.
