Sochi Fiori Fiorista

Being the part of the Russian Riviera, Sochi is the largest city of the Russian Federation by the Black Sea. The permanent population of Sochi as an urban resort territory is 345 000. It is also believed to be the only noticeable place in the country which has some attributes of subtropics. Since the end of the WWII, there have always been lavish governmental investments made in sports facilities and transportation including Adler International Airport in the vicinity of the uptown. Traditionally, the city hosted the twenty-second Winter Olympic games as well as the FIFA World Cup in 2018.
Due to the hot and humid weather almost all year long, except for a couple of winter months when temperatures drop below freezing, this area is a paradise for flowers and blossoming trees. The thriving of the greenery is like an embarrassment of riches. It is hard to decide where to go sightseeing first and foremost. I dare say you would not be disappointed if your choice fell on Caucasian State Nature Biosphere Reserve. In the 1970s the site became a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. In 1999, it was included in a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The plant life of the reserve features high biodiversity. The other peculiarity is a great number of endemic species. It is noteworthy that 3 of 5 species of Caucasian rhododendrons can be found only here.
The Rhododendron Caucasicum is the king of this plant realm. Its flowers are a wonder to behold. They are eye candy all on their own or accompanied by other flowers. Rhododendron is able to survive up to a century and a half under optimal environmental conditions. Because of the potentially toxic nature of these flowers, it is desirable to refrain from picking them, even though you spotted some rhododendrons outside the reserve. The best memory is not cutting wildflowers but taking enough evocative photos for your family album.
