Cherry blossoms, irises, azaleas, begonias, dahlias, tulips, plum blossoms, and hydrangeas grow at the Nabana-no-Sato in the city of Kuwana. Cherry blossoms are not only found in Japan and at Washington DC. They are also in Oregon, Nashville, Seattle, and Dallas among other states. Irises have up to 300 species and are abundant in Europe and Asia. These tall flowers can grow along with as much as ten sword-like leaves that surround the stems of flowers. Azaleas have their festivals in Japan, the United States, and in Korea. There are many species of azaleas and there singles to doubles that can have five to thirty petals. Begonias are not just pretty flowers. Traditionally in the past, they are also used to polish the blades of swords. Tulips have about 150 species, and because they come in many colors save for blue, there are many kinds of tulips to choose from. Plum blossoms are edible and are often used to garnish desserts and baked goods, and as a salad ingredient. The Chinese regard them as representations of new life and perseverance. Hydrangeas make perfect welcoming flowers and are great to work with at weddings and home arrangements.
