The greenhouse is a sight to behold in itself as it is shaped in the form of a pyramid and designed to resemble a flower bud. The beautiful Aramaki Rose Garden is another favourite place for visitors who would like to see flowers near Daito. With over ten thousand roses and some refreshing fountains, this park is a hit with families and lovers. About 30 minutes from Daito is the Expo 70 Commemorative Park which is a splendid cherry blossom viewing spot in the spring months – the evenings are a great time to visit as the trees are dressed up with lights and look simply spectacular. Elsewhere, a mere 17 drive away from the city lies Tsurumi Ryokuchi Park, which is a former host of the International Greenery Exposition and boasts a huge array of tulips, vibrant azaleas and fragrant roses depending on the season.
