Sydney brings to mind glittering skyscrapers and white sand beaches, but there is so much more to this chic urban city. Other gardens spaces have been dedicated to rain forests and palm groves, where interested visitors are invited to make friends with their area’s fruit bats. To truly experience the native plant and wildlife in southern Australia, a trip to the Blue Mountains National Park or the Royal National Park is a must. With roses, orchids, yellow daises blooming throughout the year, and the occasional wallaby making an appearance it is an experience that visitors will never forget.
