Aabenraa is a small city in Denmark, and it is located at the head of a fjord in the Little Belt strait. Though Aabenraa is relatively small, there are a high variety of flowers to be found here: Stegholt, Aabenraa’s botanical garden, contains flowers like daisies, clover, and English holly, as well as others. Other flowers that can be found in Stegholt include anemones and lavenders. Historically, Aabenraa was known for was its quality in shipbuilding. Today, Aabenraa is known for its economic importance: with a large harbor, a good deal of shipping trade comes and goes through Aabenraa, and Denmark’s largest radio broadcasting company, Danmarks Radio, operates an office in Aabenraa.
