Not only is Tallinn the capital city in Estonia, but the largest city – 32% of Estonia’s population lives in this one city alone. In 2011, Tallinn was a European Capital of Culture, and the Old Town in Tallinn is considered a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Tallinn’s eccentricities aren’t just reflected in its modern sensibilities, but in the natural European beauty that it contains in many places. In the Tallinn Botanical Gardens, for example, is currently hosting an exhibition featuring perennials like clematis, phloxes, hostas, and many other flowers one wouldn’t otherwise have an opportunity to see. The gardens feature new kinds of flowers brought into the greenhouses monthly.
