Known officially as Tokyo Metropolis, the capital of Japan is also the largest metropolis in the world. This unique city is home to modern skyscrapers along with ancient shrines, and is constantly changing at every street block. Some of the best sushi in the city can be found at the world’s largest fish market, Tsukiji. See the fresh catch of the day, and sample the sushi at Sushi Dai. Sumo wrestling is another popular attraction and training sessions are open to the public. If you prefer a quieter entertainment, there are several kabuki theaters located in Tokyo. Two important shrines to visit in Tokyo include the Buddhist temple Senso-ji, and the famous Shinto Meiji Shrine. Parks and tranquil gardens are scattered throughout Tokyo, and the Hama-rikyu garden features a field a beautiful peony bushes. On the other side of Tokyo is Yoyogi Park, which is comprised of four different gardens. Complete with blooming cherry trees in the main garden, it is the perfect place for a picnic lunch. The formal French gardens and English landscape are filled with scented lavender flowers and elegant roses, while the Japanese garden has a traditional teahouse nestled between the exotic orchids and lilies. Another part of the park not to be missed is the enchanting Mother and Child Forest, where visitors can see the surrounding area from the two stories Taiwan Pavilion. In the middle of the busy metropolis lies Roppongi Hill, where visitors can find plenty of shopping, restaurants, cafes, movie theaters and even small traditional Japanese gardens. The Mori Towers are also located in the area, and visitors can take a ride to the 45th floor and see Tokyo’s brilliant skyline and even the outlines of the distant mountains. We will deliver a skillfully arranged bouquet of flowers to almost any address in Tokyo.
