Occupied since ancient times, Jordan’s capital city, Amman, is a glimmering gem of a city within the Middle East. An immensely important city for economy – one of the favorite cities for Western expatriates or multinational corporations to begin operations in – Jordan also boasts a vibrant cultural scene, known for its music, historicity (museums, ancient structures, etc) art, and food. A large variety of flowers like anemones, oleanders, and desert roses can be found throughout Amman. In addition, the black iris, one of Jordan’s national symbols and one of the rarest flowers on the planet, can also be found throughout this city.
