Şabāḩ as Sālim, or Sabah Al-Salem, is located in the Mubarak Al-Kabeer Governorate of Kuwait. The Mubarak Al-Kabeer Governorate itself was formed in 2000, after the split of the Hawalli Governorate into two separate governorates. Sabah Al-Salem is mainly known for being the location in which the A’Takamul International School operates. A’Takamul is a school teaching an American curriculum, and a school that intends to combine Arab and Western cultures in its education. As in most of Kuwait, some flowers that can be found in Sabah Al-Salem are Kuwait’s trademark arfaj flowers, as well as roses, marigolds, and cistanche plants.
