On the island and nation of Cyprus, Nicosia holds the honor of being its capital city, its largest city, as well as its primary economic and business center. Nicosia dates back thousands of years: it has been inhabited continuously by people for 4500 years, and has seen inhabitants and rulers ranging from the Assyrians to Romans, Byzantines, and even Ottomans. One of the most famous places in Nicosia is the Cyprus Archaeological Museum, which was founded in 1882. Notably, the Cyprus Archaeological Museum does not curate artifacts from places around the world, but only displays artifacts that are found on the island of Cyprus itself. Nestled in this historical city are the Athalassa Botanical Gardens, containing hundreds of plants and a myriad of different trees, such as the pine, eucalyptus, cypress, and the acacia. Some of the flowers located in Nicosia and the botanical gardens are beautiful blooming lavenders that contrast wonderfully against the green vegetation throughout the city, flowers from the Cyprus cactus, and the Cyprus cyclamen, brightly colored flowers that grow up out of tubers. We can capture the natural and historical essence of Cyprus, and send the flowers located therein, as well as a variety of others flowers, to almost any location in the world. Additionally, we can send flowers to a wide number of addresses in Nicosia.
