Thessaloniki is the second-largest city in Greece, and one of the most popular tourist destinations in the entire country. Teeming with vibrant festivals, culture, nightlife, and adventure, it’s no surprise that Thessaloniki is also one of the most important economic and trade hubs in all of Greece. One notable event is Greece’s annual flower show, which takes place in the International Exhibition & Congress Center. Flowers of every imaginable type can be found here, including everything from roses, poppies, and tulips, to violets, sunflowers, and gerbera daisies. The Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, additionally, runs an arboreal garden which has a variety of flowers alongside its diverse collection of trees.
