Halle is a beautiful city located in the south of country, just near Leipzig, which makes the city active in industrial and commercial activities and is blessed with abundant greenery and cheer. It came into existence in 1945, as a result of World War II. Halle is also rich in agricultural and industrial aspects since it is a fertile terrain which makes it a very important rail junction. It deals in sugar refining, machine building, food processing, brewing, distilling, and the manufacture of motor and chemical products. Halle also mines sizable deposits of lignite (brown coal), rock salt, and potash.
