In the state of Washington D.C. lies a prestigious, private university affiliated with the United Methodist called the American University. Up to date, the gardens contain thousands of different species of orchids and other wildflowers.

In the rose gardens, you will find floribunda roses, otherwise known as apricot nectar roses. These beautiful, fragrant roses have been known to be a crossbreed of Polyantha Roses and Hybrid Teas. Check out the alliums in the cutting garden. These beautiful, purple, round-shaped flowers bloom during summer and spring, and is known to have a long-lasting blossom. Gaze at the amazing Japanese snowball viburnums, which have white, round flowers. These beautiful flowers are pretty to look at, and you would see that even birds are attracted to it.
