Culture of Montreaux

Montreaux is a historical gem, with an old medieval fort its symbol. Check it out when in Montreux – you can even visit the jail and imagine life back in the day. If that is too dark for you, head on down to the Queen exhibition. Montreux was a favourite sport for Freddie Mercury, and as a result, there is a little museum here stuffed with Queen related artefacts and photos. You can even visit the recording studio where Freddie and the band recorded their last works together as a group before his premature death in 1991.
