Kiel is a city made up of grand ports with reflections of the bustling life and remarkable lights floating over waters of the Baltic sea that makes it not only an important trading hub but also an epitome of modernism. • Over 280 species of diverse herbaceous flora.
• A vast collection of trees including one of the largest ginkgo trees in Schleswig-Holstein.
• Two species of Metasequoia glyptostroboides that are known to be the oldest of their kind on the European mainland (planted around 1948).
• The specimens of Juniperus rigida, Taxodium distichum, Amur cork, and Sequoia sempervirens.
• The garden also contains two ponds, lawn areas, and perennial flower beds.

It’s best to visit the city during the summers for its cool breezy aura makes up for one good trip.
