Sanda is close to a huge array of attractions in the Osaka area, and the nearby Takarazuka Garden Fields is the ideal spot to start. The beautiful Aramaki Rose Garden is another favorite place for visitors who would like to see flowers near Sanda. With over ten thousand roses and some refreshing fountains, this park is a hit with families and lovers. About 30 minutes from Sanda is the Expo 70 Commemorative Park which is a splendid cherry blossom viewing spot in the spring months – the evenings are a great time to visit as the trees are dressed up with lights and look simply spectacular. Elsewhere, a mere fifty minute drive away from the city lies Tsurumi Ryokuchi Park, which is a former host of the International Greenery Exposition and boasts a huge array of tulips, vibrant azaleas and fragrant roses depending on the season.
