Outdoors, the United States Botanic Garden has a lovely pleasant Butterfly Garden with flowers planted specifically to attract these beautiful winged creatures, and a Rose Garden, with dozens of beautiful varieties of colorful roses on display. The Bartholdi Park is also situated in the Botanic Flower Gardens, and hosts two acres of manicured lawns, well-tended flowerbeds and refreshing fountains. The park is within easy reach of Adams Morgan and makes a change from the hustle and bustle of the streets in the area.
