The island and province of Phuket are located in the Andaman Sea, and are home to some of the best beaches in Thailand. The pink flowered rosewood tree will soon be blooming on the island, along with ones with bright yellow blooms. The rosewood tree is native to Thailand, and one of the symbols of the country. Other blooming plants that visitors will get to enjoy include bright blue morning glories and cheery cosmos. Lilies, heliconia and bougainvillea are also popular on Phuket, and visitors to the island shouldn't be afraid to stop one of the friendly natives and ask to discuss their favorite flowers.
