In the summer you simply must go on a quest to find beautiful tulips and other Uster flowers, which bloom in abundance in the Mainau Island. This island is located about an hours drive away and is literally teeming with tulips – thousands and thousands of them in fact! If you are lucky enough to be in Uster and the surrounding area in May then you are in for an additional treat – the Wisteria trees have been expertly shaped in Belvoir park to form gorgeous arches. Just the ticket for those looking to photograph Uster flowers when in Uster and beyond. At this time Belvoir flower Park is also the place for a massive Iris section – keep your camera handy as these flowers are not out in force for more than a few weeks.
