Located in NSW, Tamworth is probably best known as playing host to the giant country and western music fair that takes place annually. Living up to its' musical theme, Tamworth also has a giant golden guitar which is a popular place to grab a photograph. Where flowers are concerned, the district claims climbers such as the Climbing Guinea Flower and the common waxflower do well under supervision, as does the desert jasmine which is hardy but perhaps does not bring that much colour to any flower bed. They also publish within the guide a list of endangered plants and flowers, as well as a document several pages long on all of the plants, shrubs, trees and flowers that will grow well in the area.
