Brantford Canada is another Canadian city that you may never have thought of visiting. Far off the tourist trail and located around twenty miles from the city of Hamilton, Brantford is perhaps known as the place of the oldest protestant meeting house in Ontario. The area is located along the Brant River and is a greater place also to fish, canoe and even swim in the little swimming pool. Bring a picnic with you and make a day of it! Particularly, this park and conservation area is well explored in the spring months as those that want to see native plants hit the trails with their pocketbooks. Wildflowers native to Ontario include alfalfa, bee balm and blazing star. These, amongst others such as the bloodroot and bur marigolds, can be seen all along the walking trails in the spring months and make for excellent photo opportunities. Whether you want to hike to get some fresh air or are a wildflower spotter, Brantford is a great base from which to explore the area.
