The attractions of the Mersey town of St Helens are varied, with something for everyone. Those visiting in May have an interesting event to attend – the popular Patronal Flower Festival that celebrates St Helens day is held in a local church and attracts visitors from the local community and beyond. Hosting a stunning array of church flowers, the festival also has art and craft stalls and local produce for sale.
