Fuchū Blomsterlevering (blomsterhandler)

The city of Fuchu is part of the bulging metropolis of Tokyo and can be found on the Ashida River with its' main claim to fame being the JRA Racecourse. When visiting the area in the month of November be sure not to miss the Japanese Cup which is one of the most prestigious events of the year. Horses are brought from all over the world to compete in what has to be one of the wealthiest sports events Japan has to offer. Make an occasion of a day at the races at this huge venue complete with shops and restaurants. A major pastime for Japanese locals is going to the many beautiful parks and gardens throughout Japan simply to look at flowers and blossoms. A great deal of time and effort is spent on creating the most wonderful displays for all to enjoy. No visit is complete without seeking out a flower festival or nature park to indulge in this ritual. Tokyo is awash with colour in the spring and being a mere 20 minutes from Fuchu is definitely something for the visitor to see. The Kawazu Cherry Blossom Festival is a wonderful sight with the stunning cherry blossom trees lining the river bank. This is best enjoyed during the trees most striking period in the spring months as they come into full bloom. Yellow canola flowers can also be seen in abundance while enjoying a snack from one of the many food stalls along the way.
