If you are on the lookout for flowers when in Berlin then the obvious choice is the world famous Botanic Gardens and their many splendid attractions. There are over twenty thousand different plants and flowers on display at this fantastic flower garden, so professional gardeners and casual alike will be in awe of all there is on offer to view here. There are sections dedicated to plants from all over the world and a tropical greenhouse. And if that is not enough there is also a museum on site which specializes in botany. Elsewhere in Berlin the Tiergarten is another favorite spot at which to see flowers. This huge forested area is known by locals as Berlin’s lung and is a great place at which to spend a few hours in the summer months, enjoying a picnic and taking in the views of the plants and trees. You may be surprised to discover also that Berlin is a great place to take in cherry blossoms in the early spring. The city planted hundreds of the trees along the lines of the former Berlin wall after reunification, and now they are simply glorious in the spring months. Head to the Glienicke Bridge or Bornholmer Street for some of the best. Berlin Mitte is best described as the capital city’s town center, and is a desirable place in which to both live and work. If you are visiting Berlin you absolutely need to check out the Brandenburg Gate - an iconic symbol of the city - as well as the TV tower for fantastic and panoramic views over the entire city. The DDR Museum and the Berlin Wall Memorial will give you your fix on the city’s divided and turbulent past, and then you can hit any number of other interesting attractions. Check out the Curry Sausage Museum or the Museum of Contemporary Art for example, before hitting up some of the outdoor attractions available in the city
