A district in the south of Tokyo, Ota has plenty to see and do. The Senzoku-ike Park Is a favorite spot with locals and visitors alike, and features a lake where you can take a little swan boat journey. In the spring months, the park is a particularly pleasant spot when the cherry blossoms are in bloom. Of course, Ota’s location near to Tokyo means you are in an excellent location for checking out all of the other attractions in the wider Tokyo area. For example you will find you are not that far away from the city of Meguro which boasts a lovely riverbanks along which numerous flowers are in bloom throughout the year. In the spring, the cherry blossom flowers are well worth a look as you walk along the riverbank. There is also the famoud Meguro Sky Garden located in the town. It is home to lots of plants and flowers as well as an interesting building, and you can take a stroll in the flower gardens to see flowers in bloom. Ota is not far also from the district of Shinagawa - a pleasant part of the Tokyo metropolis which is a nice place for flower lover throughout the year. But the spring is definitely the best time to visit, with the guest being treated to fantastic displays of cherry blossoms and flowers. Elsewhere, the area of Sakura is also a fantastic cherry blossom viewing spot and one that features on postcards of Japan. The region is within easy reach of some of Tokyos’ most beloved flower and botanical hotspots, including Mitaka-shi. This is home to a yearly cherry blossom sakura celebration at the beautiful Nougyou Kouen Park. In fact, the entire Tokyo metropolis is known in Japan and beyond for its’ wonderful cherry blossom flowers that bloom in the spring. So why not take a look? Especially if you are a flower lover, and even if it is not possible to visit in the spring, you will be sure to hit up a number of flower-related attractions at every turn!
