Just one hour from Tokyo, Noda is jam packed with activities. Home to a theme park, the beautiful ChibaSekiyado Castle and interesting shrines, Noda will keep you busy for days! Flower lovers too will not be disappointed with the floral attractions on offer. The Shimizu Park Cherry Blossom Festival is an annual delight, with many varieties of beautiful cherry blossoms on display in the early spring. There is also a yearly plum tree festival here too which is just as spectacular. Azaleas are common as well in the warmer months and can be seen in all their glory at Shimizukoen. As Noda is so close to Tokyo there is also the opportunity to head to the big city and take in the attractions there. For flower lovers, Noda offers a great base from which to explore the wider surrounds. Meguro for example is not far away - head to the banks of the Meguro River - about one hour from Noda - during the cherry blossom festival for a picturesque walk through the falling blossoms – a favourite pastime of locals and visitors alike. The Meguro Sky Garden is also a wonderful place to explore, admire the architecture and welcome some green space and tranquillity when in the area.
