Amagasaki is more of an industrial area than a place to visit, and as such doesn’t have a load of attractions. There are so many flower related attractions in Hirakata, which is about 30 minutes from Amagasaki that it is definitely worth a visit for flower lovers. Nearby Yamadaike Park is a favorite amongst locals and is known as the place to head during the cherry blossom festival. During the early spring months the trees flower in the most beautiful of pink blossoms, accompanied also by some pretty stunning plum blossoms too.
